What is a bodaboda?

Borara.
Borabora (in Luganda language, Uganda) or pikipiki (in Kiswahili) are the motorcycle taxis. They are in thousands on the streets of Kampala. They can take even three people and are used to transport all kinds of goods from chickens, over coal to furnitures.

A ride in the centre of the town costs around 2.000 ush (approx. 0,60€) and to the outskirts of the town costs around 4.000 ush.

Borara transporting grains.

They are some many and everywhere.
